The Westward reimagines the iconic pea coat, honoring its maritime heritage and timeless durability while elevating it with modern materials and craftsmanship. Built from a 3-layer waterproof softshell fabric, it is windproof, highly water-resistant, and breathable, offering exceptional protection in any weather. The fabric, crafted by Schoeller in the Swiss Alps, features a refined wool/nylon stretch-woven exterior, a soft micro-fleece interior, and a waterproof mid-layer membrane. Additionally, the outer layer is treated with Schoeller NanoSphere®, ensuring exceptional water and dirt repellence.

With substantial 4-way stretch, the Westward combines unmatched comfort with a sleek, tailored silhouette. Its innovative construction eliminates the need for a bulky liner, enabling effortless layering. Finished with zippered hand-warmer pockets and a classic pea coat collar, the Westward strikes the perfect balance between refined style and practical functionality.

Swiss Alps

Originally used years ago for our first pea coat called the Bridgeman, this remarkable textile is difficult to produce and hasn't been woven again since our last production run. After much convincing, we persuaded Schoeller to manufacture it for us one final time, making the Westward an extraordinary and exclusive addition to our collection.
